Wine Value (20%)
The winery offers a portfolio of 11 wines that are celebrated for their excellent quality. However, the pricing is on the higher end, which aligns with the superior craftsmanship and flavor profiles experienced during tastings. While the wines justify their price with exceptional taste, the cost may be a consideration for budget-conscious consumers seeking value.
Hospitality (15%)
The winery consistently delivers an exceptional hospitality experience, with both staff and owners frequently praised for their warm and friendly demeanor. Despite being busy, the team excels at maintaining high service standards, providing knowledgeable insights that significantly enhance the visit. Guests repeatedly commend the staff's ability to create a welcoming and informative atmosphere, making it a standout feature of the winery.
Wine (15%)
The winery's selection impressed with consistently great wines during our tasting visit, underscoring their commitment to quality. While professional ratings aren't available to corroborate this, the use of sustainable practices enhances the wine's appeal. Standout offerings include a well-balanced Chardonnay and a robust Cabernet Sauvignon, both reflecting the winery's dedication to crafting noteworthy wines.
Vibe (15%)
The winery offers a truly inviting atmosphere, set in a cool historic space that adds a unique charm to your visit. Guests can relax by the cozy fireplace or enjoy the comfort of plush chairs scattered throughout the area. The attached private patio provides a serene spot for sipping, and live music frequently enhances the ambiance, creating an engaging and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Setting (10%)
Nestled in a repurposed old school house, the winery offers a unique charm with its small but inviting grass lawn. While it is part of a commercial office park complex, the standalone building is enhanced with thoughtful landscaping and outdoor seating that create a welcoming atmosphere. The brickwork and well-maintained entrance add a touch of elegance, though the overall setting remains consistent with a typical commercial environment. Visitors can expect a blend of historical character and modern convenience.
Parking (5%)
Synne Cellars offers a shared parking lot with approximately 50 spaces, conveniently located less than 50 feet from the entrance. While this should be sufficient for a business of its size, the lot tends to be very busy on weekends. Visitors are required to provide their license plate number to avoid being towed, which is an important step to remember. Additionally, the lot's proximity to a roundabout might require some extra care when navigating during peak times.
