Mansion Creek Cellars
Mansion Creek Cellars
Mansion Creek Cellars pours Spanish and Portuguese varietals in a light-filled tasting room in Fremont, a few steps from the Burke-Gilman Trail. Denny and Tina Russell have run the family winery since 2017. They work with winemaker Ali Mayfield on Albariño and Tempranillo, plus rarer grapes like Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cão and Graciano. The room is deliberately casual, with flights at the bar, couches and a patio. From inside you can see the Aurora Bridge, the ship canal and Mt. Rainier. Family touches fill the space, including a cigar box guitar built by Denny's father. The room stays open into the evening Wednesday through Sunday, so it's an easy stop before or after dinner in the neighborhood.
